Import and Export
Imports
Section titled “Imports”You can import a project by clicking the button for creating a new project. After this, you can choose to import a project by uploading a .zip file. The entire project will then be imported.
Note: Currently, only the Tracelane format is supported. However, we are working on adding support for ReqIF imports—stay tuned!
Exports
Section titled “Exports”Tracelane currently supports three types of exports:
- Tracelane Format (.zip): A simple, machine-readable format to exchange modules between workspaces or store them for backup purposes. This format is JSON-based.
- Word Format: Generates a single Word document that includes all requirements and attributes.
- Excel Format: Creates an Excel file with one sheet for each module.
